Getting to Maidstone Hospital

Hospital parking is usually the awkward part, so this is worth knowing: we operate a free H1 shuttle bus for the NHS trust, running weekdays to Maidstone Hospital from London Road Park & Ride in Allington. It is free to everyone, whether or not you have parked a car there.

It runs from the Park & Ride, not from your door, so you would need to reach London Road first. If the timetable fits your appointment, take it; we would rather point you at it than sell you a fare you did not need.

When it doesn’t fit — an early list, a late discharge, or a day you would rather not wait — we run door to door to Hermitage Lane around the clock, with the fare agreed before you travel.
