Airport pickups across Tonbridge
Every airport run from Tonbridge starts with the same five minutes of A21 — after that, the M25 decides the day.
One junction, four airports
Tonbridge sits five minutes from the A21, and every airport run starts the same way — up to the M25 at junction 5. Gatwick is the nearest, about 34 miles and typically 40–60 mins; Heathrow, Stansted and Luton run 58 to 78 miles round the motorway. That shared start makes timing predictable: the variable is the M25, not the way out of town.
Early departures
We run 24 hours a day. For departures before 8am, most Tonbridge pickups leave in the small hours — book ahead and we work back from your flight time rather than the clock.
Local pickups
Pickups run right across Tonbridge — the station, the High Street and castle side, the trading estates off Cannon Lane and the Higham Wood and Trench estates. The A21 bypass is five minutes out, with the M25 at junction 5 shortly beyond, so airport runs clear the town quickly at any hour.
Also nearby
Hildenborough, Hadlow and East Peckham pickups run from the same base. The other half of the 01732 service area is Paddock Wood.

Which airport is quickest from Tonbridge?
Gatwick — typically 40–60 mins for about 34 miles. Heathrow is next at 65–85 mins, and Luton is the longest run at 100–120 mins. Each route page above has the full picture: fares by vehicle, the route itself and what to allow at busy times.
How much is an airport taxi from Tonbridge?
Fixed fares from Tonbridge for a standard vehicle: Gatwick £71, Heathrow £101, Stansted £105, Luton £130. The fare is agreed at booking — outbound journeys add the airport’s own drop-off charge, and each route page shows fares for every vehicle class, including the first-app-booking price.
Do you cover the villages around Tonbridge?
Yes — pickups from Hildenborough, Hadlow, East Peckham and Bidborough run from the same service area, with the fare agreed at booking before the car moves.
Does Tonbridge have its own Streamline base?
Tonbridge and Paddock Wood form one Streamline service area on 01732 505050 — pickups are genuinely local, while the company’s head office remains at 68 King Street in Maidstone.
How do I book an airport transfer from Tonbridge?
Book in the Streamline app or call 01732 505050. You can book the outward and return journeys together or separately, and your fare is confirmed at the time of booking.
How far in advance should I book?
We run 24 hours a day, so there is no cut-off, but most Tonbridge airport runs leave between 3am and 5am and those slots go first. Booking ahead is mainly about securing the vehicle class you want rather than getting a car at all.
What happens if my flight is delayed?
Your driver monitors your flight in real time and adjusts to the actual landing time at no extra charge. You also have 60 minutes’ free waiting from when the flight lands, not from your booked time.
How does the return pickup from the airport work?
Your driver meets you inside the arrivals hall holding a Streamline name board and walks you to the car, so there is no car park to find. Airport parking on return journeys is charged separately, at the cost incurred on the day.
Which vehicle should I book for luggage or a group?
A standard vehicle seats up to 4, but four passengers with large cases will be tight — take an MPV instead. The 8-seater MPV and the Premium MPV (Mercedes V-Class) both carry up to 8, and the V-Class has the most luggage room. If you are not sure, call 01732 505050 before you book and we will tell you what fits.
What gets added to the fixed fare?
On outbound journeys, the airport’s own drop-off charge — it differs by airport, and each route page states the current one. On return journeys, airport parking at the cost incurred on the day. Different rates may apply on bank holidays, Christmas Day and New Year’s Day. Stansted and Luton journeys also cross the Dartford Crossing, which adds the £5.60 Dart Charge each way. Nothing else: there is no meter and no surge pricing.
